Yesterday I was driving somewhere, enjoying the warm weather with my windows down, while listening to Christmas music. Something about that just didn't seem to fit. I guess that's just part of Southern California.

I remember the same feeling the year we were in SoCal. It didn't seem like fall until we spent a cold grey Thanksgiving in Roseville. Then I was able to get in the mood a bit more. If snow and ice in Seattle don't do it for you, I guess you are hopeless (just kidding of course :).

Mom
Seattle was great. It felt like the Christmas season up there. But that was probably a lot of what made it so apparent when I got back down here.
