I'm working on making ginger bread cookies. The motor on the $10 mixer I have just died because it couldn't handle the thick batter. Now I understand why some people spring for the fancy $12 mixers.

I can vouch for the resulting cookies. Though your mixer may have died, it did not die in vain. The cookies were wonderful. Thanks for letting Marie and I decorate the cookies, eat the cookies, and generally hang out at your apartment.

Make that a $212 mixer, for the ones with dough hooks that could handle dough that thick. My "mixer" for that dough is Dad.
